SHALLOW BREATH, SHALLOW LIFE

Breathing is the most important thing you will do today so why not give it some attention??  Unless you breathe deep enough you won’t oxygenate your blood enough for your brain to get the oxygen it needs to work efficiently.  Shallow breath, shallow life.

We live life through our body and the easiest way to get out of your head and into the body, is through your breath.  You will be more connected to yourself and you will have more presence.

You know those people with loads of charisma and presence?  Well they are “in” their bodies, flowing and trusting in themselves and life. We are human beings not human doings!  In saying that you can bring life into everything you do by “being” present to what you are doing, bring attention and focus and grace. Its in the gesture, the way you move through life, with grace and presence.

One way I have found the quickly and effectively brings me present is Kundalini Yoga.  Kundalini Yoga is the yoga of awareness.  Its a sacred science that used to be kept secret because it is so powerful they thought if it got into the wrong hands it would be dangerous.  It is like nothing you would have ever experienced before!  Kundalini Yoga is like putting the windscreen wipers on your sub-consicous mind and clearing the way for your intuition or inner voice, to be loud and clear!  You will shift old emotional blocks that your body remembers in its cells.  You will lose old patterns of behaviour that don’t serve you any longer. The Neural to body pathways that have been etched out through your past, can be transformed into new patterns that serve your higher or better self!  Having your mind working for you not against you is where you want to be.

Kundalini works on developing the neutral or meditative mind. That gap between your thoughts, where you can access your creativity and innovation, a place free flowing with ideas.  That is one of the great benefits I have from Kundalini, I am so creative and have ideas all the time.  I used to think I wasn’t creative but realised I was just blocked by old patterns and old ways of thinking, and constant thinking!

Learning techniques that helped me be in my body and find a place of deep stillness within, has transformed my life and the way I feel about myself and life. I am so grateful to have found the technology of Kundalini and highly recommend it to anyone that wants to feel more alive!
